Hartecast Street Furniture selected for Min Ryan Park

Min Ryan Park in Killeens, Wexford, saw a substantial investment somewhere in the region of €4 million and is named after historic figure Min Ryan from Tomcoole in Barntown, who played a huge role in Ireland’s development in revolutionary years. A donation of €200,000 towards the cost of the park was made by her grandson Richard Mulcahy and his family.

The park features surfaced walkways, parkland, a playground, picnic areas, civic spaces, a water feature, a dog park and a memorial garden, as well as some beautiful scenic walks containing rich bio-diverse eco systems such as a wetland area, wild-flower meadows and native woodland habitats.

Hartecast Street Furniture, a Wexford based manufacturer was selected by Architects Brady Shipman Martin to supply the Street Furniture elements, seats, picnic sets, bollards and cycle stands. Hartecast worked closely with Wexford County Council and Niall Barry and Company Civil Engineers another Wexford based company and we are delighted to be part of this historic project in our home town of Wexford.
