Hartecast bring a fresh look to Derry City Centre

Derry City

Derry City has recently transformed its centre with a new £8M Public Realm project. The aim of the project has been to create a high-quality, vibrant and modern urban environment which will attract social interaction, support economic activity and provide a welcoming space for cultural and entertainment activity.

Hartecast, have been chosen to supply their Urban furniture across this city realm project. Carefully selected for their contemporary designs and outstanding high quality, Hartecast products complement the surrounding new environment and ultimately - we provide the necessary pedestrian features which are paramount to this environment.

Hartecast products included in new enhancements for Weston-super-Mare

The seaside town of Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset, England, has undergone some major enhancements as part of the £29 million redevelopment of the promenade. The Seafront element includes strengthening the sea wall, construction of a secondary splash wall, the rebuilding of sections of road and the installation of new lighting and street furniture. Coupled with this, a further enhancement scheme namely Pier Square - which will ultimately link the seafront to the town centre, is also nearing completion.

Hartecast, have been chosen to supply our high strength, high quality ductile iron Litter Bins and Stainless Steel Bollards on both schemes. Working closely with the client, bespoke product adaptions have also been provided to cater for typical seaside conditions. Furthermore, Hartecast bollards have also been supplied to complement these projects.

Hartecast help re-establish Portadown and Lurgan as modern contemporary market towns

Portadown - Hartecast Street FurnitureSituated just south of Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland, Portadown and Lurgan have undergone a major redevelopment of their streetscape. The £8 million scheme is the responsibility of Craigavon Borough Council and as with all Public Realm projects, the Street Furniture is one of the most notable elements of the refurbishment.

Selected for our quality, durability and strength, the Hartecast furniture with its contemporary design sets these two towns apart from the rest, and will help in bringing them forward over the coming years.

Hartecast’s street furniture such as seating and litter bins will be an integral part of the newly redeveloped civic space and will help to attract more people into the towns with their ‘inviting’ presence and sleek style. Both towns have a large footfall hence, a robust and durable solution was required to comply with this tough environment and Hartecast’s characteristics’ are well suited to this.
