Stainless Steel Finishes

We use only 316 grade Stainless Steel in our products which is suitable for all external areas, and has corrosion resistant properties.

Polished Finish - Mirror Finish

CAST IRON

Cast Iron or Grey Iron is a classic material used in our traditional range of seating. All our Cast Iron Products are primed before powder coating. We use heavy section Cast Iron in our Traditional Range of Seating.

HARDWOOD

The hardwood we use is Iroko Teak timber from sustainable managed forests. The timber is then treated with a Sikkens brand of translucent stain, which combine aesthetic appearance with optimum durability to meet the challenging needs of Irish and UK weather conditions.This not only protects the hardwood but also gives a high quality finish.

DUCTILE IRON

Ductile Iron is an incredibly durable form of iron due to the spherical formation of the graphite particles. It is less brittle than cast iron. Due to its extra strength it has a very high resistance to impact.All Ductile Iron products are fully galvanised before powder coating. Ductile Iron is used in the majority of Hartecast products

POWDER COAT FINISH

We use full polyester powder coating for the following reasons: Gives additional corrosion protection to the galvanised casting. Excellent colour stability - will not fade.
High durability and resistance to weathering.
